Whitefish Volleyball Takes 3 of 4 in Busy Week

    The Whitefish High School Volleyball team was back in action last week, playing 4 matches in 5 days.

    The Lady Dawgs would open the regular season at home, against Browning, last Tuesday 9/10, claiming a 3-0 sweep.

    On Thursday, Whitefish took to the road to face Libby.

    The Lady Dawgs would come away with a sweep, 3-0: 25-11, 25-14, 25-11.

    Maggie Mercer had 5 aces. 

    Yoli Krastev finished with 7 kills.

    Allie Shors had 12 assists.

    On Saturday, Whitefish would play two matches in the span of 6 hours.

    Saturday morning they were in Corvallis and took care of business, winning handily. They garnered another 3-0 sweep: 25-19, 25-13, 25-8.

    Izzy Hartwig finished with 10 kills while Myli Ridgeway had 9.

    Maggie Mercer had 17 digs while Kaydence Blackwell had 10 assists.

    Saturday night, Whitefish closed out the weekend at Hamilton.

    The Lady Dawgs fought hard but suffered their first regular season loss, this year. They fell in 4 sets: 23-25, 20-25, 25-21, 24-26.

    Izzy Hartwig had 17 kills while Camry Kelch added 11.

    Allie Shors had 19 assists while Kaydence Blackwell added 15.

    Maggie Mercer added 21 digs.

    Following the weekends action, the Whitefish Volleyball team is now 6-3-1 on the season.
