The Whitefish High School and area track teams were in Corvallis Thursday for the Sapphire Twilight Meet.
The Whitefish girls would finish in 4th place as a team while the boys were 5th.
The Hamilton Girls and Corvallis boys would win the event.
Each team was allotted four athletes per event with only two-three flights/heats per event.
And now a look at how each Whitefish team performed, (looking at top performers) starting with the girls:
100 Meters- Anna Boysen took 5th
200 Meters- Brooke Zetooney was 1st with Hailey Ells 3rd.
The 4x400 Relay team (Rachael Wilmot, Anna Boysen, Kellie Klepper and Hailey Ells) was 2nd.
Shot Put- Brooke Zetooney was 2nd.
Javelin- Bailey Smith was 3rd.
Long Jump- Bailey Smith was 1st.
Triple Jump- Hanna Gawe was 5th.
And now a look at the Whitefish Boys:
100 Meters- Ryder Barinowski was 4th.
200 Meters- Carson Krack was 1st.
400 Meters- Azure Stolte was 2nd.
1600 Meters- Simon Douglas was 1st.
110 Hurdles- Morgan Kyle was 3rd.
4x100 Relay Team (Ryder Barinowski, Scott Dalen, Riley Zetooney, Carson Krack) was 3rd.
4x400 Relay Team (Azure Stolte, Carson Krack, Simon Douglas, Preston McPherson) was 2nd.
Long Jump- Morgan Kyle was 3rd.
